MCA to help students improve Malay, English

MALACCA: MCA has launched a pioneer tuition programme in 31 schools nationwide to improve Chinese school students grasp of English and Bahasa Melayu.

It seems that while this is a very good move deserving applause, I can't help but think whether it would be feasible for MCA to do a reverse move to teach or improve non-Chinese's grasp of Chinese. Likewise for UMNO and MIC. Only then can we say that we Malaysians are truly multi-cultural in a language sense. At least it would be a good move in my opinion, don't you think so?
